Speedmaster Apollo Exhibition
Astronauts from the landmark Gemini and Apollo NASA programs joined OMEGA and Tourbillon Boutique in Las Vegas, Nevada to celebrate an exhibit featuring rare artifacts from the iconic space missions. The exhibit, which run from October 20th to 24th at City Center, showcased a Lunar Rover, an Apollo 10 space suit and Mars Rover in addition to OMEGA Speedmaster watches. The OMEGA Speedmaster is the only watch worn to the moon and is the official timepiece of the NASA space program.
In addition to the exhibit, OMEGA & Tourbillon Boutique hosted a VIP cocktail reception Thursday, October 20th from 6 PM – 9 PM at the Tourbillon boutique. The reception honored Gemini and Apollo astronaut Lt. General Thomas Stafford and Apollo 17 astronaut—and last man to walk on the moon—Captain Gene Cernan. A portion of the proceeds of sales from this special reception – and from all OMEGA watch sales at Tourbillion between October 20th and 31st - benefited cancer care and research at Nevada Cancer Institute.
