The fairway to success

At the close of the annual Omega Golf Trophy held at the Golf de Lavaux on Saturday July 15th 2006, Omega and the Tourbillon Boutique of Lausanne sponsored a closing cocktail, prize-giving ceremony and dinner at the club house.

This event successfully combined a prestigious sport with an important charity operation that included a valuable tombola draw featuring prizes provided from both Omega and the Tourbillon Boutique. Proceeds from the event were donated to the Swiss League Against Cancer. Golf is enjoying increasing success in Switzerland and the Omega Golf Trophy has become one of the most coveted tournaments in the country.

The player who achieved a Hole-in-One or a Double Eagle won a special Omega Constellation Double Eagle watch, while winners in categories I to III qualified for the grand final of the Swiss Omega Golf Trophy held at the Golf Gerre Club in Losone (Ticino) on August 16th 2006.
